AXIS/GFA’s design of the hotel and multi-family housing project the second in Hollywood underway this year

As was recently featured on UrbanizeLA, one of AXIS/GFA’s latest projects – The Harper, a hotel and housing mixed-use complex in the heart of Hollywood’s Sunset Strip – was recently announced.  The project is a collaboration between AXIS/GFA as executive architect, Steve Kent Architects as design architects, and A.J. Khair as developer and builder.

The Harper is is the second currently-underway Hollywood hotel and multi-family architectural design project by AXIS/GFA following the yet-to-be-branded hotel announced by the firm in April.

Ultimately, the project will feature a 172-room hotel and 46 mixed-income housing units above ground-level commercial spaces and restaurants.  A subterranean parking garage with capacity for 174 vehicles will be located beneath the building.  Boasting eye-catching yet elegantly integrated curved digital billboard displays as part of the building’s façade, the project is sure to become an instant landmark along Hollywood’s famed Sunset Boulevard.
