AXIS/GFA’s design of the hotel and multi-family housing project previously featured on UrbanizeLA
As was announced last week on our blog, AXIS/GFA’s latest project, The Harper – a hotel and housing mixed-use complex in the heart of Hollywood’s Sunset Strip – was recently featured on UrbanizeLA. This last week, The Harper was once again featured in the Los Angeles media, this time on WeHoVille.
A collaboration between AXIS/GFA as executive architect, Steve Kent Architects as design architects, and A.J. Khair as developer and builder, the project will feature a 172-room hotel and 46 mixed-income housing units above ground-level commercial spaces and restaurants. A subterranean parking garage with capacity for 174 vehicles will be located beneath the building. With integrated curved digital billboard displays as part of the building’s façade, the project is sure to become an instant landmark along Hollywood’s famed Sunset Boulevard.
