San Francisco
The Pullman San Francisco Bay was a renovation project done in collaboration with EDG Design, who oversaw the modernization the hotel’s public areas, including the lobby, registration area, restaurant, bar, market, meeting rooms, and outdoor pool terrace, as well as Looney & Associates, who designed the hotel’s 421 guestrooms.
Originally a Sofitel by Accor located on Redwood Shores across from Oracle HQ, the property was repositioned into a Pullman Hotel with AXIS/GFA teaming up to reconceptualize and reconfigure the lobby, bar, cafe, restaurant, and outdoor pool and social areas. The new design pulls inspiration from the local art, food, and technology scene, with an emphasis on blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor social spaces.
